Jet Set Radio Also Heading to Playstation Vita

Originally announced for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC back in march, The HD re-release of Jet Set Radio is also heading to the Vita this summer, SEGA have announced. The classic Dreamcast title which is remembered so fondly for its stylised graphics, funky soundtrack and unique gameplay will soon be available for a whole new audience. If you’re heading to E3 this year, you’ll be able to go hands-on at SEGA’s booth.

All the updates to the home console and PC versions will make an appeareance on the Vita, though added features such as touch functionally for tagging, and even use of the camera will mix things up a bit for gamers on the go.

“The fan reaction to our recent reveal of Jet Set Radio has been incredible!” said Haruki Satomi, Senior Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA. “As Jet Set Radio is focused on creativity, the touch capabilities of the PlayStation VITA are proving to be a perfect fit.”

Tag, grind, and trick to the beat in SEGA’s hit game Jet Set Radio. Fight for control of Tokyo-to, mark your turf with graffiti, tag walls, billboards, and even rival gang members! Perform tricks and flips on magnetically driven in-line skates, but watch out for the local police force!
