Popular PC twin-stick shooter Crimsonland is heading to the PS4 next week. With thousands of players already being devoured by aliens and giant spiders on PC, owners of Sony’s flagship console will be able to play the game from July 15th. In addition to the PS4 version, developers 10 Tons have announced that there is also a PS Vita version in the works and should be released soon.

The PS4 version of Crimsonland features over 30 weapons, leaderboards to compete with your friends and trophies. With the game already seeing some success on Steam, I’m glad to see it making the leap to the PS4 and eventually the PS Vita. We’ve seen games such as Octodad: Dadliest Catch and Mercenary Kings debut on Steam and eventually make their way onto the console after initial positive feedback or hype. Dead Nation is the only other twin-stick shooter currently on the PS4, aside from Resogun to an extent, and hopefully it can capture the imagination of PS4 owners.
