Developers of the MXGP series have today revealed a trailer showcasing footage of star rider Antonio Cairoli riding around the track, as they look to take sound recording to the next level. Cairoli was fitted with 3 high fidelity cameras and a Go Pro camera to record audio files of the environment and the sound from Cairoli’s KTM. The attention to detail has provided a high level of audio, the likes of which has never been heard before in a videogame.

With the game being re-released exclusively on PS4, Milestone have looked to provide one of the most realistic motocross experiences gaming has ever seen. With several key features promised for the PS4 version and 4 exclusive tracks, it seems as though Milestone are looking to improve on the average MXGP, which was recently available on PC, PS3, Vita and Xbox 360.

MXGP will be released on October 17th for PS4.
