Naughty Dog Announces All Their PS4 Games Will Work on PS5
I think most of us would have expected this to be the case, but it’s nice to get the official confirmation none the less, because Naughty Dog has announced that all of their PS4 titles will be playable on PS5.
We already knew that both Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Last of Us: Remastered will run on PS5, as they are both included in the PS+ Collection, but now we do know for sure that Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, The Jack & Daxter Collection and The Last of Us: Part II will also run on the next-gen system.
Personally, I am very much looking forward to playing The Last of Us: Part II at an improved framerate (especially if Naughty Dog follow Insomniac Games lead by making Ghost of Tsushima 60 frames-per-second) and resolution, without the need of buying a remastered edition. Plus with the multiplayer mode known as Factions releasing at some point in the near future, it’s an exciting prospect to say the least.
Which of Naughty Dog’s games are you looking forward to playing most on PS5? Let us know across our social media channels.
We’re excited to share that all of our PS4 games will be backwards compatible on #PS5, including: The Last of Us Part II, The Last of Us Remastered, Uncharted 4, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Uncharted 1 – 3, and the Jak series!
