As a result of PS4 exclusive Days Gone being on the featured cover of Game Informer, we have some fresh new details on the post-apocalyptic, open-world, mass zombie horde, biker groupie adventure.  When speaking to Game Informer, creative director at Sony Bend; John Garvin said that despite Days Gone being recently delayed as it was supposed to release late this year, they aim to release this title sometime during early 2019.

During the interview, they also confirmed that Days Gone will of course support PS4 Pro by rendering at 4K checkerboard, as well as running at 30fps (hopefully they’ll be a 60fps option come release).  They also revealed that the campaign will take about 30 hours to finish and that you’ll be able to go back into the game after it’s done, presumably to explore the world more, finish any side-quests and find hidden secrets and so forth.

You can learn more about the interview with Game Informer on Days Gone here and with E3 just around the corner, fingers crossed we get some new gameplay and a set release date.
