#TGS2015 Project Morpheus Renamed Simply PlayStation VR

From the Sony conference at today’s Tokyo Game Show, the super heavy weight gaming software and hardware developer has revealed that its virtual reality headset, previously dubbed Project Morpheus, is receiving a more simpler title as to not confuse prospective purchasers. Now called PlayStation VR the event also presented a new reel of gameplay for future titles for use with the device which included a look at mech game RIGS, shooter London Heist, underwater exploration in The Deep and both a dating and jpop idol simulator. I suspect the later two won’t travel too well internationally however I do envisage them shipping a lot of headsets in the East at launch. Check out the “sizzle” trailer below:

Those wanting to get your head in a Project Morpheus …sorry PlayStation VR, they can do so when it comes to the EGX event in Birmingham next week.
