The Last of Us 2 Remastered roguelike mode will have at least 12 levels
To little surprise whatsoever, especially following all the rumours, Naughty Dog finally announced The Last of Us Part II Remastered.
To be fair, rather than being a simple remaster, The Last of Us Part II Remastered comes with a reasonable upgrade for those who already own the original sequel on PS4 as well as a whole host of new modes, including cut levels.
One of the modes in The Last of Us Part II Remastered is a roguelike mode called ‘No Return’ that will see us take on a variety of stages with randomised encounters. It will also feature multiple playable characters each with their own unique set of skills.
What’s more, as sported by Joanastic on Twitter, according to the LinkedIn page of ex-Naughty Dog employee Colin Freeman, No Return will have at least 12 unique levels. Hopefully, Naughty Dog will reveal further details in the coming months.
The Last of Us Part II Remastered will be released for PlayStation 5 on 19 January 2024.
