Earlier this month EA announced that Bruce Lee would be an unlockable fighter for their new UFC title, EA Sports UFC. Now they have also announced the inclusion of UFC and MMA legend Royce Gracie.

Royce Gracie is a hugely influential figure in the world of mixed martial arts and is well known for changing the face of the sport forever after taking part in the very first UFC event. At UFC 1 he appeared as an undersized, skinny man who would undoubtedly be destroyed by the other larger and muscled fighters he was set to face. Instead he used his Brazilian Ju Jitsu knowledge to submit each opponent he faced and won the tournament. He repeated this feat for UFC 2 and UFC 4 and likely would have done the same at UFC 3 had he not had to leave the tournament due to exhaustion. His triumph helped with the recognition of Brazilian Ju Jitsu and revolutionised the sport of mixed martial arts.

Royce Gracie can be unlocked in 2 ways. Either by pre-ordering the game for immediate access or by playing through the UFC career mode on pro difficulty or higher.

EA Sports UFC is coming to Xbox One And PlayStation 4 on June 17th and it is looking like it could be a very enjoyable title.
