Reviewed: Sonic CD

Sonic The Hedgehog CD is looked at as either being one of the best in the franchise, or the most overrated. It’s full of great ideas with some untapped potential and flooded with many road blocks. Personally I’m curious if Sonic 2 was put on a Compact Disc if it would have a re-orchestrated soundtrack.
Pros: Special stages are quite fun, Super Peel out is a nice new move, Quartz Quadrant and Stardust Speedway are fun paced enjoyable levels, the time traveling mechanic can give you four different levels in one.
Cons: Finding the generators can come off as backtracking, a lot of the levels don’t have that Sonic flow to them, Bosses are WAY to pathetic, Spindash needs to be fully charged before it works, not much of a level design difference between good and bad futures,Wacky Workbench.
