Brett’s Play: Flame Over (PS4)

Flame Over is a great game. When I reviewed it on PlayStation Vita earlier this year I sunk hour after hour into it. A rogue like with a bit of a twist, the game sees you responding to a fire in an office building and running through procedurally generated levels that get gradually harder. The fire-fighting mechanic feels unique and it will be touching down on PlayStation 4 September 16th.

Unfortunately it won’t be cross-save or cross-buy with the PS Vita version, but for good reason. The games 16 levels will be the most polished they’ve been yet and include mechanics and additional rooms that won’t feature in the Vita version. Retailing at just £8.99, it will become one of the best games you can pick up on the PS4 for less than a tenner. If you’re contemplating picking it up, but want to see it in action then do not fear!
