Gamescom: Shadow Of The Beast Trailer

Shadow Of The Beast was possibly the first game of the Playstation conference that caught my eye and made me think ‘I want this’. With only a small trailer to go on, we see the main character running through a desert environment slicing up the odd enemy here and there before facing something much fiercer. But why describe it when you can just watch it below!! Enjoy!

After doing a little research, it turns out that Shadow Of The Beast is a reboot of an Amiga classic from 1989! You played as a character called Aarbron (similar to mine?) who was unfortunately kidnapped as a child and corrupt via magic into a warrior-servant for the evil Lord Maletoth. He manages to regain he human memories when he sees a man being executed, who he recognizes as his own father! This prompts Aarbron to seek revenger against the evil forces of Maletoth.

Now if they reboot follows the same kind of story if unknown at current, but I’m sure over the coming week we will find out more!
