Nintendo Just Announced GameCube Controller Adapter For Wii U

Out of absolutely nowhere, Nintendo have announced that you’ll be able to play the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Wii U with the fan-favourite Nintendo GameCube controller.

It’s unclear as to whether this is going to be sold publically, or just online, or anything. No details have been given just yet but you can bet we’ll hear more about it at E3. Speaking of which, the line up and rules of the Smash Bros. tournament at E3 have been announced, take a quick look at the video here.
