We start the game off with the return of the Queen of the Underworld, Medusa, and her Underworld Army. Pit, a heroic angel, with the help of the Goddess of Light and Human Race, Palutena, must combat forces of darkness as he battles Medusa and her minions by Air and Land.

The Fiend’s Cauldron is an incredible new system that allows players to customise their experience through the game. You can range the intensity of the game from 0.0 to 9.0, which makes Medusa’s minions more aggressive, have more energy and hit harder, however giving you better rewards such as more hearts and dropping more powerful weapons. Gaining hearts allow users to purchase new weapons. The standard setting for this game is 2.0 but you can adjust this accordingly to your own need. If you get defeated during the game, you will lose some hearts and the intensity of the game will also decrease.

There are a wide variety of collectible weapons throughout the game with the amount of replay value. There are 9 different categories of weapons, ranging from Divine Bows to Shot Claws, players can then learn the unique characteristics of each weapon bestowed upon them, and then determine which is best suited for each battle and their own style of play.

Pit will have access to special vehicles during his adventures, such as the Exo Tank. Pit can use this tank’s powerful drift ability to defeat enemies with the tank’s ramming horn.

Kid Icarus: Uprising uses a control scheme designed to fit the game’s unique blend of flight, shooting and melee combat and it also offers a unique blend of precision, speed and depth which rewards dedicated players. The left hand will be using the circle pad whilst your right hand will be occupied with the stylus, both at the same time. You will also get a stand with the game, which will help enhance your gaming experience with the 3DS.

The circle pad pro is compatible with this game, offering an alternative control scheme from left-handed players. With the Circle pad pro, the player holds the stylus with their left hand and use the circle pad with their right!
