More Photos Of Nintendo’s “Amiibo” Line Release

Nintendo PR has confirmed the first 12 amiibo figures as Mario, Peach, Link, Samus, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Kirby, Fox, Marth, Villager and Wii Fit Traine. There are more to come in the future, but let’s take a look at some of the newest package shots we have of them. The detail on Fox is especially great. You’ll be able to use amiibo figures in certain games, such as Super Smash Bros. 3DS & Wii U, where they’ll act like a memory card of sorts. Each amiibo is unique depending on how you use it, with different stats and traits.

You’ll also be able to use the same amiibo in other games, where they might act differently depending on how you’ll use them. For example, a Mario amiibo used in Super Smash Bros can also be used in Mario Kart 8! Pricing has not been revealed for Europe yet, but expect them to go up for pre-order very soon.
