Nintendo have announced, during their live stream event, that the new Super Smash Bros. games for the Wii U and 3DS will be co-developed by Namco Bandai. Project Sora will also be working with the third party on the game. Project Sora have previously worked on the Kid Icarus: Uprising title for the 3DS, so they know exactly what the 3DS game will want and need.

Sadly HAL Laboratory, who had worked previously on the other three Smash Bros. titles will not be returning to the new titles.

How do you feel about this? Namco Bandai are known for their work on fighting games. Will they benefit the series and make it better? Or for the Worse?
