Super Smash Bros. Wii U & 3DS Nintendo Direct On April 8th

Nintendo UK have announced on Twitter that a special Nintendo Direct for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will air April 8th.

 

“Join us on 8/4 at 11pm UK time for a #SmashBros. Direct focusing on the upcoming #WiiU & #3DS games“

The Direct has also been confirmed for Japan and it’s likely that a North America announcement will arrive shorty. I expect there will be lots of new information and trailers, as Sakurai has been showing off plenty of new moves in his recent Miiverse pictures of the day. We may potentially get a release date too, but if we do, don’t take it as a concrete day, seeing as the previous instalment, Super Smash Bros. Brawl was delayed various times.
