The Band Of Thieves & 1000 Pokémon Release Time & Japanese Trailer

The Band of Thieves and 1000 Pokémon is a limited time e-shop game for the 3DS that utilises StreetPass to collect Pokémon to battle thieves. The game will be a free download and available from the 5th June to the 30th September, and it is set in the world of the new Pokémon movie – Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction. The thieves are based on Riot and Marilyn, two characters from the movie and you acquire Pokémon by StreetPassing people, the battles against the thieves are decided by how many Pokémon you have. The Japanese side of the Pokémon Company released a trailer showcasing some of the gameplay.

If you take the game with you to the movie then something special is supposed to happen! It will also connect with Pokémon X and Y by completing a challenge in-game. The download of The Band of Thieves and 1000 Pokémon will come with a special downloadable Pikachu. Hopefully we’ll see this outside of Japan!
