Professor Layton Movie is Coming to the UK

Yes it has been announced that the Professor Layton: The Eternal Diva movie is coming to the UK in September. Unfortunately it will not be coming to the big screen, it will be a straight to DVD release. But this is still exciting news as for anyone who has seen the Japanese trailer will know that, this looks amazing.

The film is set just after the game Professor Layton And The Specter’s Flute , which is a prequel to the trilogy (that is why Luke looks so young in the poster above) and hasn’t even come out yet outside of Japan. The cut-scenes in the Layton games were outstanding! This movie will keep the same art style, which is why this movie (for me) will probably be one of the best this year, even if it is straight to DVD. The film has not yet got an American release date, but I’m guessing that it’ll be around the same time.
