EA have announced just one of the new features that we can expect from FIFA11, along with some brand new screenshots.

“Personality+” is the latest feature to be integrated into the FIFA series, and it adds something that has been lacking from the previous titles – the individual nature of each player. Executive Producer Kaz Makita says that “Personality+ is the evolution of individual distinctiveness that sees a footballer’s abilities on the pitch mirrored authentically in our game, creating individual personalities in FIFA 11. We have reached a level of sophistication within our game engine where footballers in our game will behave and perform as true individuals.”.  Examples include Rooney, who will hold off players and strike early shots, Chiellini, who will be able to predict passes, and Kaka, whose passing will be quick and direct.

Passing has also been slightly adapted, with wayward passes being more punishable, and your accuracy has far more of an impact on what happens on the screen. As well as this, “swerve” passes have been introduced. EA have said that most of the gameplay will be built on that of FIFA10, and there can’t be many complaints about that!

Graphically, FIFA is still phenomenal, and here are some screenshots to show you that EA have still got it. The game will be out this Autumn on PlayStation3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PlayStation2 computer entertainment system, Nintendo DS, PSP (PlayStation Portable) system and mobile.
