Ubisoft reveals new information about the up and coming Tom Clancy’s HAWX 2, at an exclusive pre-E3 event.

The sequel to the already fantastic flight combat simulator has been “expanding its horizons” to include all aspects of aerial combat, including takeoffs and landings, recon missions in UAVs, air-to-air refuelling, laser-guiding bombs down to targets and probably one of the most fun, dog fighting missions.

The next title will incorporate real-world satellite imagery to create realistic locations from all over the world, including Moscow, the Arctic Circle and the desert of the Persian Gulf. Ubisoft also happily announced the arrival of the four player co-op within the whole campaign, as well as full online multiplayer, with up to eight pilots involved.

It was also hinted that HAWX 2 may tie in some of Ubisoft’s other Tom Clancy-like elements, which are still under wraps, but we hope to get a hold of the game as soon as possible to learn more about its many new features.

HAWX 2 is due to be released this Autumn on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PC
