It has been announced that Nintendo will be releasing a scaled-down model of the Wii.

The console will initially only be released in Canada, and it is currently unknown when Nintendo plan to release it in any other countries.

In a statement, Ron Bertram, Nintendo of Canada’s vice president and general manager, said, “Wii mini is a great gift for the holidays that bring everyone in the family together to play. Wii Mini has a mini-price, but it’s all about big fun.”

The console will not have the ability to connect to the internet, and will not be able to play any Gamecube games, unfortunately.

The Wii Mini will be released on the 7th of December for C$99.99.
