Well it seems that the world saw money in the zombie infestation from Dead Rising. There was no elimination of our zombie friends. They were simply stuck in a large city. Then television set up some cameras and decided to make a reality Tv show to see if people could survive and you got picked to do so.

It seems humans can repress the zombie gene when bitten now, but in strong doses your gonna’ be walking around, trying to munch on the brains of lesser men. Our hero’s motivation lies in the fact that his daughter was bitten and he needs to find a cure. After the death of his wife that’s all he has.
