BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Heading to PlayStation 3

Arc System Works designer Toshimichi Mori has confirmed that the next game in the BlazBlue franchise is on the way, currently set for a winter 2012 arcade release window. In addition, there will be a location test at Akihabara Hey in Tokyo on August 6. This week’s issue of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu reveals the fighter is also headed to PlayStation 3.
Chrono Phantasma features three new characters: Amane, Azrael, Bullet along with a redesigned Noel. There will also be a new Overdrive system, a system to serve as a counter to the more defensive Break Burst system by buffing your character up for a short period of time, in addition to granting them access to more powerful attacks.
