Bungie and Activision has released a batch of new images for Destiny featuring the exclusive content for the Playstation consoles.  The PS exclusive will remain a timed exclusive believed to be until the back-end of 2015.

We’re also just less than two days away (17th) until the Destiny beta kicks-off for the Playstation 3 & 4, before the beta then begins for the Xbox consoles on the 23rd to which the beta will then close on the 27th. The beta will also be closed between the 21st – 22nd for maintenance.

Destiny will release for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One worldwide on September 9th.

It has also been revealed that there might be a chance of your beta progress carrying on over into the main game when it releases on September 9th.  When speaking to Eurogamer, Bungie community manager David Dague said that:

The beta is a test,” he said. “It’s extremely unknown as to what the outcome will be. So, it’s certainly not a promise or an announcement that we’re making at this time. It all depends on what we learn and how things shake out. So, we’re certainly not telling players they can carry their progress over, but we haven’t made any announcements either way.

So if this does happen, you have even more the reason to play the death out of that beta!  Also be sure to check out the video below from Bungie which reveals everything you need to know about the highly anticipated beta.
