Final Fantasy Versus XIII Lives

After having what can charitably be described as an ‘episode‘ last week relating to the rumoured death of Final Fantasy Versus XIII, I was thrilled to find that Square-Enix president, Yoichi Wada, confirmed on Twitter that Noctis is still alive and kicking.

Translated, the tweet reads:

@Yoichiw  ”Seems a guy is playing a hoax that Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been canceled. Took the end of the regular meeting for Versus right now, (laugh).”

Wada goes on to claim that fans will be surprised with what they have so far, suggesting that this response isn’t just a formality focussed retort to last week’s rumours. It seems Square-Enix’s saviour could still blow us away; when this will be, however, is an entirely different issue.
