God of War: Ascension Will Include The Last of Us Demo
Are you itching to get hands-on with Naughty Dog’s hotly anticipated survival adventure The Last of Us? Even though its May 7th release date seems eons away, gamers who pick up a copy of God of War: Ascension (releasing March 15th in the UK) will be treated to a free demo when it becomes available.
The PlayStation Blog reveals:
“We teamed up with the development crew at Santa Monica Studio to include access to a chapter of The Last of Us in every copy of God of War: Ascension, so you won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on two of the biggest games of the year. Just load the God of War: Ascension disc into your PS3 and find The Last of Us listing on the main menu. There, you’ll find details on how you can obtain The Last of Us demo for free as soon as it becomes available.
We hope you’re as excited about this news as we are, and we know what’s likely on your mind now — what will you be able to play? We’ll have more news about what’s in store for you after God of War: Ascension launches in March. We hope your wait just got a little easier!”
A preview of Joel and Ellie’s escapades is an exciting treat, as the game looks to be one of 2013’s best. Naughty Dog are one of the top developers of the gaming industry, and if their sterling achievements in Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter and, of course, Uncharted are anything to go by, The Last of Us is going to be amazing. With the long-awaited God of War: Ascension accompanying it, March 15th 2013 is a date every PlayStation 3 owner should highlight in their diaries.
