Update: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is available now on the PS3 for £10.99/$14.99.  It seems not to be the “Classic” version of the game that was originally available for PS3, but rather the version that released on Xbox 360 last year as the Trophies you can earn, appear to be the same as the Achievements.

Original Story: PlayStation Trophy collection website, Exophase, has recently released a Trophy list (click the list to see Trophy link) for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, for PlayStation 3. Surprisingly, game will feature a Platinum trophy, which is a rarity for re-releases, and digital only titles. As of today, we’re not sure whether it is a fully fledged remaster, however, judging by the Xbox 360 release which took place over a year ago, we should not expect it to be, however, we can be certain that it will feature in the very least, minor graphical enhancements such as improved resolution.  You can compare the Achievement list for the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas here.

Trophy hunters, who are aiming to achieve to previously mentioned Platinum Trophy, will have to spend tens of hours doing so, as game requires you to reach maximum respect for the Original Gangster Trophy; Get arrested 50 times for the Serial Offender Trophy, and last but not least, capture 30 territories for the Grove Street Warlord Trophy. Beside the chore based accolades, players will also have to complete the game to achieve The End of the Line Trophy, and strangely enough, they’ll also have to ”achieve” sex with a girlfriend for the Home Run Trophy.

The PlayStation 3 version of the game does not have a release date as of now; however, we can expect it to be released in the coming weeks, if not this Tuesday (1st of November). Stay tuned for more information, which will surely come soon.
