Highway to the danger Zone

Remember in the 80’s when you played Top Gun on NES? I sure do, it was super difficult and hard to control, the screen was too small, this is all coming from my mentality of today with our HUD’s, huge screens, and controllers that have more than 4 buttons.

Well Coming exclusively to the PSN network is the new and improved “Top Gun”, developed by Doublesix, and produced by Paramount Digital Entertainment. This new title will be based off of the original movie starring Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer. But wait….there wasn’t much dog fighting in the movie itself, but in the new game title, there has been many new objectives and more of a background story to the characters.

The campaign mode for Top Gun, will feature Maverick’s Flight school days, the top gun competition against Iceman and Merlin, as well as Combat over the Indian Ocean.

There will also be Multiplayer included, which will bring back the good old Dog fighting. Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Top Gun (choose your wingman and compete against enemy pairs), Bombing Run (defend and attack mobile bases) and Capture the Flag will all be available along side the campaign modes.

As for the Release Date, It is TBA at the moment.
