Littlebigplanet 2 Retail Date Confirmed!

Today at Comic-Con Media Molecule presented us with a sneak peak at Little Big Planet 2, along with some big news that turned is into a bunch of screaming girls when they see Justin Bieber. The release date for LBP2 and some other interesting LBP2 info.

The release date of LBP2 will be coming out to all good retail stores on November 16th, Just in time to fill up your holiday gap. It’s sooner than we expected and lets hope it doesn’t get delayed.

We then got some information on “What will we get if we pre-order early” – Well you folk who like to pre-order will be able to get some bonus pre-order goodies for your LBP2 universe. Disney/Pixar are giving  4 new “Even More Animals” costumes. So far already there is 5-6 different LBP2 costumes, all thanks to the pre-order bonus. If you’re into Ratchet & Clank then pre-order from Amazon.com and get 6 Sackboy costumes including exclusive access to Ratchet & Clank costumes from the ever popular Ratchet & Clank franchise.  In addition to the exclusive 2 costumes, you’ll get four new “Animals” costumes, for a total of 6 costumes.

BestBuy & BestBuy.com – Toy Story fans, look no further. You will now be able to get that Alien dude that says “The claw!!!”. Disney and Pixar are going to provide the exclusive Aliens costume for Best Buy Pre-order takers. Plus again the 4 costumes from “Even More Animals.

GameStop & GameStop.com – Are going to TRON it up with there pre-order bonus. Head over to GameStop and pre-order from there to get an excluisve “Clu Sackboy” costume from Tron Legacy. Again along with the 4 “Even More Animals” costumes Are you as excited for the release of TRON: Legacy as we are?  If so, head on over to GameStop and pre-order to get the exclusive *Clu* Sackboy costume from Tron: Legacy. Be the first to have this costume and hold tight for more TRON: Legacy costumes later this year.  And again, you also get the 4 different “Even More Animals” costumes.

After the release date there will be more costumes coming for those who are a LBP2 costume fanatic! Sadly they didn’t really announce any more costumes to be exact so we will have to wait and see. But keep an eye out for more Muppets costumes shortly after launch via the PlayStation Store.
