Mark Wahlberg to play Nathan Drake in Uncharted movie

The rumour of Mark Wahlberg to appear was met with a lot of criticism from fans of the series.
Justin Richmond, the director of Uncharted 3 recently answered fans by saying that Mark Wahlberg would not be playing the lead role in the upcoming film. The actor himself has confirmed that isn’t actually the case and he will indeed be playing the role as stated in a new interview unless of course, he’s been highly misinformed.
He also went on to mention that also casted were Robert de Niro and Joe Pesci with filming is scheduled to be done “hopefully” this summer.
