Metal Gear Solid PSN Sale

2012 marks the 25th anniversary of one of the greatest game series of all time, Metal Gear Solid. It’s been a big year for the franchise with HD collections, containing Metal Gear Solid 2, 3 and Peace Walker being released on both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 earlier this year and has just recently released on Playstation Vita (minus Peacewalker.) It was recently announced that Metal Gear Solid 4 would finally be getting trophy support, which is now live via a free update. A new website has been launched for the 25th anniversary that details all upcoming news for the franchise. The most recent entry shows that the original masterpiece, Metal Gear Solid for the Playstation 1 is now on sale on the PSN store for only £3.99 instead of £7.99. Is this worth purchasing? Why yes, yes it is.
