Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack Double XP confirmed

Those pesky 12 year olds are anxiously waiting to get there mitts on the Modern Warfare 2 map pack. If the map pack isn’t already causing too much excitement for you then you’ll be happy to know that there will be a double XP weekend upon launch.

Activision has announced that shortly after the release of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package, Xbox 360 gamers will be able to enjoy a double XP weekend from April 2 to April 5. The Stimulus Package features the first new multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare 2, available starting March 30.

I guess that sounds fun for the addicted Modern Warfare players but the £9.99 (1200) Microsoft points price tag is a bit too much for me to pay. I will just stick with Digbert on Uncharted 2 that weekend.
