The upcoming Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is arguably the most anticipated Playstation 3 exclusive game of the year. A beta was released a few weeks ago for those lucky enough to have been chosen, but now a new beta has appeared that is open to the public. Starting today Playstation Vita owners can access the beta in North America, as too can Playstation 3 Plus members. As for the UK, the same terms apply and can be accessed tomorrow on the 17th. For the rest of the Playstation 3 owners, the beta can be played on the 23rd (North America) and 24th for the UK.

Whats going to be in the beta you ask? Playstation Blog had these details:

You’ll be able to play as KratosSweet ToothColonel RadecSly CooperPaRappa, and Fat Princess.

You’ll be able to play in both the Metropolis and Hades stages.

You’ll be able to try out four-player online tournaments and 2 v 2 online tournaments. For the 2 v 2 games we’ll be supporting friend invites, so you and a friend can fight another team online.
