Rumour: Syphon Filter 4 Released in Winter 2012?

Sourced by the August 2011 edition of the Official PlayStation Magazine Italy, speculation has occurred in regards to a possible announcement of the long-awaited Syphon Filter 4. Rumours declare that the upcoming instalment of the stealthy third-person adventure series is set for a retail release in winter 2012.

Syphon Filter 4 is slowly gearing up for a release on PS3. Expect a launch for winter 2012.

OPM Italy made the reveal, corresponding with a bout of previous rumours, which surfaced back in June. It is also said that Syphon Filter 4 is to be developed by SCE London Studio, and will be a full-blown sequel to the PSP title Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow. So, if the following is to be confirmed; could this also mean a HD Classics reboot of Logan’s Shadow?
