Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time out in March in Europe for PS3/PS Vita

Sony have announced a release date for North America and Europe for the new game in the Sly Cooper series. On February 5th, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time hits North America, and will arrive in Europe a month later in March, when players will be able to get their hands on the new adventure made by the team who ported the Sly Cooper Collection to PS3, Sanzaru.

This 4th iteration in the series promises to be a love letter to Sly fans, given the development team’s status of old players of the game. Sly, Murray and the rest of the crew will return to sneak and steal their way through another enemy hideout. It looks to go back to the focus of the start of the series, focusing on the platforming elements.

Sony have also confirmed that Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will be part of their Cross-Buy promotion, so if you buy the PS3 version, you will get the Vita version on the house. I will avoid the relevant theft puns.

There are also pre-order bonuses available if you pre-order the game now, in the shape of character skins, one of which is shown below. I’m looking forward to this, as the original trilogy were solid character platformers which are sharply becoming a dying breed. Hopefully Sanzaru can deliver another quality jump-and-sneak experience.
