Sony Expanding Television Streaming Service

Currently, should we wish to watch television on a Sony console we’re stuck watching on demand or trying to hunt down what is a shockingly hard to find digital TV tuner for the PS3. Soon, however, things shall change!

Currently available in Japan, and coming worldwide July 19th, nasne (purposely lower case), will allow Sony users to watch and even record digital and satellite TV. Users will be able to record up to 500GB worth of shows to watch later through PS3s directly or through PS Vitas using a wi-fi connection.

I know at least one member of the Push-Start staff who’ll be looking forward to having a baby PS3 for TV, but at approximately £130 it may be something of a niche product.
