Square Enix announces Kingdom Hearts ReMIX-1.5 HD

This year’s TGS was opened at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, and Square Enix celebrated the 10th anniversary this year with Kingdom Hearts by showing the first work of Kingdom Hearts 1, Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days for the PlayStation 3 in HD named “ReMIX-Kingdom Hearts-HD 1.5“. Kingdom Hearts 1 will be Japanese dubbed, and no information has been announced for a North America/Europe release. It is set to be released in Japan sometime in 2013. 

 

Those of you who aren’t familiar with the series, it all starts off with 3 best friends. Sora, Riku and Kairi in the beautiful shores of Destiny Island planning to embark on an adventurous journey to the outside world. The day before departure, Destiny Island is swallowed in darkness, the three become apart however, at the same time, Goofy and Donald who lives in Disney Castle leaves on a journey seeking a person with a Keyblade and was set out. 

Sora was flown to the outside world, where he met Donald and Goofy there. Sora to explore the various worlds, growing to meet a lot of people in his long journey. Before him, Kairi is sleeping like a husk, but with Riku… he was drawn to the power of darkness into the presence of the mysterious unknown.
