The Last Guardian “Is In Full Development”

The Last Guardian has reportedly been in development for seven years, it was originally planned to release on the PS3 (and it still might), but in the dawn of the new generation, if this game does release it is very likely to release on the PS4 (if not both formats).  Over the years we’ve heard numerous stories regarding “is it or isn’t it still in development?”, “it has been cancelled or it hasn’t been cancelled!”.

But over the last week those rumours resurfaced stating it has been cancelled, then guess what?  Apparently rumours came out to say it hasn’t been cancelled!  I mean seriously, how on Earth are we meant to keep up with this?

Though there might be light at the end of the tunnel for fans eager to still play The Last Guardian, as the new CEO at Sony Computer Entertainment sent out a rather comforting tweet confirming the news that a lot of fans wanted to hear.  When asked about the release of The Last Guardian Scott Rohde replied “I laughed at this rumor over dinner. The Last Guardian has NOT been cancelled.”

You can check out the tweet for yourself below and hopefully with E3 kicking off today, Sony will reveal something big in regards to this incredibly over due game from Team Ico.
