Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters: Daybreak Special Gigs out this October

A visual novel with a strategy game battle system all about hunting ghosts is on its way to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on October 21st with a fancy updated version of the original game. Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters: Daybreak Special Gigs will be available as a physical release on PlayStation 4 and a digital release on all three consoles. The game sees you and your team try and hunt down ghosts and vanquish them whilst also going down the usual visual novel route.

The game didn’t review brilliantly when it came out last year. This could’ve been in part because it wasn’t just a simple visual novel. It was a game with a strategy element that was a bit too clunky, which is what this repackage looks to address. Offering a refined battle system, that can also assist you with placing the traps if you want, it seems that this will be the best version of Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters to play. Especially as it will expand the story with five new chapters and other scenarios.
