Uncharted 3 is receiving a multiplayer only update at the end of this month and includes two new game modes, new settings and a few minor changes, IGN reports.

The new update of 1.11 includes a fan favourite game mode from Uncharted 2 called Lab Rat. This was a unique game mode as it allowed players to experience different playlists and these were constantly changed to keep the experience fresh. The return of this mode should be a lot of fun and is a great addition. The first playlist for Lab Rat will be a T-bolt/Pistole-only map.

The second game mode returning is Elimination. The objective is simple, eliminate the other players without being killed as there are no respawns.

For all players that enjoy the custom game mode, there are now advanced settings that can be used to change the percentage of health that players have, respawn time, for all settings visit VG24/7.

Some minor updates that are being included are if players now disconnect from a match, either by quitting or turning of the PS3 it will be counted as a loss. The London and Airstrip maps now have the option of “No Intro”, whereby there will be no transition between the intro convoy parts and the rest of the game. Meaning that those games will flow much better.
