Vib Ribbon Finally Available In North America

Shawn Layden confirmed on the American Playstation Blog yesterday that the Playstation One rhythm game, Vib Ribbon, is finally on its way to the land of burgers and fries.

Having never received a release in America, Vib Ribbon was teased at the Sony conference this year at E3 and most of us thought a release of some kind was imminent. It turns out that it wasn’t quite as imminent as we all hoped, but it is arriving today on PSN for those in the United States and will be playable on PS3 and PS Vita as a PSOne classic. They have also promised that they are “still working on a way to make it available on PS4“. I would suggest just making PSOne classics available on the PS4, but I suppose that’s crazy talk.

Unfortunately us Europeans will have to wait an extra week, but as those that have played it know, it is entirely worth the wait.

Now let’s put pressure on Sony to get some form of Parappa the Rapper in the works.
