Sonic The Hedgehog Ride Now Open!

The Spinball ride at Alton Towers has been remodelled over the winter period and has been re opened as Sonic Spinball! Red and Blue tracks can be seen as families hurtle around the track at 30mph! Sonic himself was even there to open this game/theme park collaboration.

The ride is aimed at family’s so don’t expect the rollercoaster ride of your life but I’d suggest checking it out.

Now is it just me or does it seem like SEGA are selling Sonic more than ever recently? Considering Sonic Superstars Racing adverts are probably all over the park right now, (soon to be followed by Sonic 4) doesn’t this seem like a way of brainwashing kids to a new level? I mean sending them on a rollercoaster to promote games?

Marketing has seriously changed.
