Not too long ago, we were asked to vote for our favorite XBLA games, with categories such as Best Family Game and Best Co-Operative Game. Well, now we have the winners!

Congratulations to Trials HD! I completely agree with the game winning best innovation and best game. There is NO game like Trials HD. Each level you complete is rewarding, use created content is great, and the game has this unbelievable addictive nature that will keep you playing for hours on end despite how hard the game is.
My favorite award goes to Splosion Man for best original game. This delightful puzzle game is as charming as it is challenging. You know you have a good game, when watching it is just as fun as playing. You have an excellent co-operative mode as well which brings 3 other players to explode, jump off walls, and collect Omaha Steaks with you. Top that off with some hilarious noises that the characters make and you have a recipe for success.
The idea of having the gamers vote on the Dashboard was a great idea. We all chose what we wanted and I’m very, very happy with the results. I do wish there was a best Indi Game selection however. Hopefully next time we’ll have that category.
