Today in London Zen United was very pleased to announce that the highly anticipated BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is now on sale in the standard and Limited editions.

If you are a big enough fan of the series, the special Limited Edition includes the game, a bonus DVD with about 2 hours of fighting tutorial guides and personal strategies for each playable character. Plus a stunning 92 page full colour book with original concept art and illustrations from the design team at Arc System Works.

Developer Arc System Works have ensured that BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger will break boundaries traditionally seen in similar fighting games by opening up the fighting scene to players who are more casual with their gaming. Designed to draw in new players with its accessible fighting system, success in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger does not require complicated multiple button combinations. Experimentation with the three button system will produce quick results for those who might feel a little alienated by other more complicated fighting titles, while experienced gamers can breathe easy knowing that all the depth they have come to expect from Arc System Works titles is still there waiting for them.

A unique addition to BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is the acclaimed RPG adventure story mode, easily containing over 100,000 lines of dialogue for players to sink their teeth into.  Part of the story is focused on the betrayed soldier Ragna the Bloodedge, who has mastered a fighting style blending magic and technology, known as Azure Grimoire, or BlazBlue which seems like an interestingly dangerous combination to be continued throughout the story.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger has received colossal praise from specialist and mainstream gaming press scoring an average of 88% attracting comments like Must Buy, Truly Great, Must Play, Excellent, A Brilliant Fighter, Seriously Amazing, Cannot Be Missed and One Of The Best.

Apart from all that excitement, you should still look out for special Xbox Live tournaments with the UK’s Blazblue champion and expert Ryan King, and play for yourself at the national gamerbase centres or in any hmv superstores around the country. BlazBlue will also be starring at the main gaming events around the UK over the coming months.
