Capcom Release Ultra Street Fighter IV Character Balance Videos

Capcom has released a new bunch of Ultra Street Fighter IV videos showing off some of the game’s balance changes from previous iterations of the Street Fighter IV series. Fighters covered are C. Viper, Yang, Makoto, Dan, Balrog and T. Hawk.

There is an awful lot of changes here and far too many for casual fans of the game to really get the benefit out of. However the competitive fighting games community will absolutely eat this up as many of the changes are game changers in the scene. Changes range from simple a difference in the damage given by a move up to reduce charge time and different sized hit boxes for combos. For a Street Fighter geek like me this is an absolute joy as it’ll be like learning the game all over again and finding new exploits my chosen fighters can use to give me an advantage.

Ultra Street Fighter IV hits digital stores on June 4th as a digital upgrade for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with a retail release planned for later on August 5th. Microsoft recently announced that Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will be free next month for Gold customers meaning theres never been a better time to try it out and upgrade.
