Classic, Retro Themed SSX DLC Arriving In May

While EA’s SSX series had been MIA for some time, their newest entry impressed both critics and fans alike, and it’s till hanging on in the UK Top 10 charts (with our own Josh giving it an 8). SSX brought flavours both old and new to old time fans and newcomers, and definitely appears to be the start of a revitalised approach to the snowboarding genre.

Long time fans should keep an eye on their download services of choice next month, as new ‘classic’ themed DLC is heading our way both in the form of a new mountain, characters and even some new music tracks to keep you sliding in style.

Arriving the 1st of May, EA will be releasing the SSX Mt. Eddie & Classic Characters Bundle Pack. Featuring nine new Race and Trick drops, the ‘TRICKY inspired’ mountain is said to be filled with huge kickers, ridiculous grinds, a Big Air drop, fireworks and a whole lot more! (I’m just going to pretend that I understood all of that!)

The character pack will provide seven characters from SSX 3 and Tricky, and they’ll be bringing their unique snowboards along for the ride too. That’s not all though, as you’ll have three classic music tracks to accompany your wintery adventures.
