Destiny Beta – Mars & Venus May Be Playable
If you were lucky enough to play the Destiny Alpha last month, then you will likely agree that Destiny was already looking very impressive at that very early stage. Now with the beta stage opening on July 17th for the Playstation consoles (with the Xbox beta expected late July), some are expecting to see further improvements and hopefully some new locations other then Earth, which was playable in the Alpha.
While this has not been ‘officially’ confirmed by Bungie, images were posted on their blog indicating that Mars and Venus will be playable in the beta, as well as Earth. DualShockers then came to the conclusion that these images do represent the new planet locations, going by previously released concept art and screenshots. So at this time it looks like we will get at least three playable planets in the beta, Earth, Mars and Pluto.
Destiny will release for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 9th.
