Destiny Goes Gold, White Console Unboxing & No Trading Items With Other Players

Thanks to the Bungie blog, they have announced that Destiny has gone gold!…GOLD!  This means of course that the game is finished and ready to ship to retail, all we have to do now is wait until the September 9th release date (which isn’t long to wait now).

As an added bonus, courtesy of Playstation Access, they have recorded a video unboxing of the Destiny PS4 white console bundle that will be available at launch.  You can find that particular video below:

 

Also following the very successful Destiny beta, many had speculated and hoped that gamers will be able to share and trade certain loot items with other gamers, though it seems that will not be happening.  As again via the Bungie blog, community chief David Dague revealed that unfortunately this will not be happening as he stated “As for swapping irons in the Tower? Nope. We want you to earn ’em,

Though he did reveal that you will be able to trade items between your own various characters that you may have under your one account.  It’s perhaps not the news that many had hoped, but at least it’s better than nothing.

Destiny will release worldwide for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 9th.
