Destiny – One Beta Key Will Allow You To Invite Three Friends To Join

Bungie have sent out emails to all those that have redeemed their beta keys for Destiny, asking you to select the console in which you want to play it on.  Once the code has been redeemed, upon selecting the console of your choice, you are then greeted with a message stating that with your single redemption code, you will be able to invite up to three friends to join you on the beta!

The message reads:

So if you’ve pre-ordered Destiny, redeemed your code, but your friends have not ordered the game and you’re not to keen on playing the beta with random’s online, then never fear!  This unexpected generosity should make for one epic filled Destiny beta experience.

 

It is worth nothing that at this moment European PS4 console owners cannot redeem the codes just yet, but that is expected to change in the coming days prior to the beta opening, so there’s no need to worry.

The Destiny beta will open for the Playstation consoles on July 17^th and the 23^rd for the Xbox consoles.  Both console betas will run until Monday July 28^th 6:59am, though the beta will be offline for maintenance between Monday July 21^st – Tuesday July 22^nd.

Destiny will launch worldwide for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 9^th.
