E3: Forza Horizon 2 Teaser Trailer

Over at IGN they kicked off their special ‘First’ feature by officially revealing Forza Horizon 2 to the gaming world this Monday just gone.  Since then we’ve learned that Forza Horizon 2 will release on both the Xbox One (running on the Forza 5 engine) and Xbox 360, with two separate development teams working on each format.  The team that worked on the original Forza Horizon (Playground Games) will be working on the Xbox One version, while Sumo Digital will be working on its Xbox 360 counterpart.

We have also learned that the Xbox One version will be in glorious 1080p (just like Forza 5), but unlike Forza 5, Forza Horizon 2 will run at 30fps (Forza 5 ran at 60fps).  This drop in framerate is believed to be down to the huge open world that will feature in Forza Horizon 2, so it’s fair to cut it some slack in that respect.

So on to this very short teaser trailer, which despite its length, it’s fairly clear to see that this will be one hell of a looker.  I for one cannot wait to play the game first hand when Forza Horizon 2 releases at the end of this year.  You can also checkout some recently released stunning screenshots HERE
